The magicJack placed third in the year, despite Rapinoe's two goals. The magicJack was disbanded by late 2011. Then, the WPS fell apart in the early months of 2012. Rapinoe re-entered the United States in 2011 after playing in a couple of games with Sydney Football Club FC, the Australian W-League. In 2012, the Seattle Washington Sounders Women, which is now Sound FC, were her first team. The 2013 soccer season in France. After the WPS was disbanded the team was renamed Seattle Reign FC (now OL Reign) of the National Women's Soccer League NWSL. Rapinoe was one of the league's most prolific scorers and was later promoted to captain. Rapinoe recorded two goals in the bronze-medal game as the United States defeated Australia by the total of 4-3.
